Serve is an annual beach volleyball tournament that brings together Montreal’s greatest bars and restaurants from all over the city to compete and raise money for an important cause: sexual education for Montreal youth.
In 2005, Quebec education reforms essentially eliminated sex education from the curriculum. The Sense Project stepped up to ensure that sex education didn’t fall through the cracks. Since 2005, Montreal’s vibrant service industry has been setting and spiking to support Sense. The funds raised at Serve ensure the Sense Project can continue to reach thousands of Montreal youth with comprehensive, peer-led sexual education.
Serve is a day-long event that takes place in late July, on the sandy volleyball courts of Jeanne Mance park.
