Music Series Coordinator
Head & Hands (Jeunesse 2000), an NDG-based youth organization, is looking for a Summer Music Series Coordinator who will be responsible for coordinating and promoting two by-youth-for-youth music concerts this July and August.
As an organization that works to facilitate social change and the empowerment of diverse communities of youth, Head & Hands recognizes that experiencing marginalization and oppression often brings both challenges and valuable skills and perspectives. Candidates who experience marginalization are strongly encouraged to apply.
The ideal candidate is bilingual, open-minded, creative, reliable, dynamic, flexible, and enjoys working in a team. Basic computer knowledge, experience working with youth, and an understanding of youth culture and music community are assets.
To be eligible you must have been a full-time student last semester, with the intention of returning to school full-time in the fall, and between the ages of 15 – 30.
Hours per week: 40
Hourly wage: $11.75
Working period: 9 weeks contract from July 3rd – August 31, 2017
