Why not support your favourite youth organization by throwing an event in our honour? Themed dinners, brunches, yoga classes, birthday parties and karaoke nights are all examples of events that community members have organized in the past to benefit Head & Hands!

Before starting, please contact us: we have hot tips that will make your job easier. Remember, to use Head & Hands’ name and/or logo for your event you need to contact us for permission.

Although we appreciate all fundraisers, we have an especially pressing financial need at the moment: our Street Work program! Until government budget cuts stopped the program in August 2011, Head & Hands provided the only Street Work services able to reach Notre-Dame-de-Grâce (NDG)’s most at-risk youth, as well as the only full-time free needle exchange and crack pipe distribution services in the neighborhood. Since the cuts, no other organization has been able to fill this gap, despite urgent needs for these services.

Help us bring back Street Work by throwing an event in its honour this summer! Throw a block party, a barbecue,  a concert—anything to contribute to restoring this essential service in NDG. If you’re interested, get in touch with us so we can share tips and guidelines.
