- AlterHéros is a non-profit organization which facilitates the social and community integration of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender youth through providing informing and education to youth, parents, family, and friends. The online community at Alterheroes seeks to create a community where the youth can share, exchange, contribute, make contacts and connect with others.
- 2110 (Dragonroot Centre for Gender Advocacy). Located in a wheelchair accessible at 2110 rue Mackay on the Concordia campus, they offer peer counseling, information and referrals, a resource library, a free TTY phone, listings of trans-friendly resources and services in Montreal, education classes/ workshops and support groups to students and people in the Montreal area. They also offer a free syringe exchange service for hormone users.

- PFLAG Montreal (Parents, Families and Friends of Lesbians and Gays) meets at 395 Elm (2 blocks west of Atwater). Meetings are open to everyone, regardless of how you identify, and occur every second Wednesday of each month, from 7:30-9:00pm. - sexualityandu - This web site is administered by the Society for obstetricians and Gynecologists of Canada. Witty, easy to navigate, informed and accessible, various parts of the site are devoted to teens, adults, parents, educators and health care workers. They have a lot of interactive elements like quizzes and scenarios, not to mention the Sex Fu Challenge. They also have a ton of useful, easy to find information.
- Go Ask Alice - This web site is run by the Columbia University health education team. A health question and answer service with an archive of over 2,500 questions and in-depth responses on numerous health topics such as drugs, general health, emotional health, fitness and nutrition, relationships and sexuality. This is probably not the right site for you if you just want to quickly get some basic facts (like, how to put on a condom), but if you just haven't found the answers to your questions on other sites, this is the place for you.
- Scarleteen - This independent, American web site is aimed squarely at teens (with a letter included for their parents) Like sexualityandu.ca, this well-designed web site gives you basic (and beyond) facts about sexual health including the best tour, ever, of your own body. Chatty, informative and fun to read.
- UNICEF Voices of Youth - Voices of Youth is an Internet site created by the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) for young people who want to know more, do more and say more about the world. Ever wanted to: control the future? Try out different relationships and situations? Go back and change your mind? Get the skills you need to take control of your life?
