We envision a society in which all youth are participants and are inspired by the endless possibilities available to them.

Programs & Services

Medical Services

Head & Hands provides medical services to youth ages 12-25. We welcome anyone within this age range with or without health insurance.

Legal Services

Head & Hands offers a free legal clinic to clients of all ages to meet with volunteer lawyers, and our Legal Coordinator works one-on-one with youth ages 12-25. Both our Legal Coordinators are Commissioner of Oaths and are able to administer oaths. We also provide referrals and legal resources.

Counselling

Our counselling services are free, youth-oriented, non-judgmental, and flexible in duration. Limited to youth ages 12-25, regardless of neighbourhood.

Young Parents Program (YPP)

YPP is a place for parents and parents-to-be under the age of 25 to meet and connect. YPP meets Wednesday and Friday afternoons and includes a free hot lunch at the beginning of each day. YPP also offers regular workshops, activities, and excursions.

Frontline Services

Frontline Services is a new merge of our harm reduction, front desk and food services.

Jeunesse 2000 (J2K)

Head & Hands’ only satellite location (located on Decarie). J2K is a youth drop-in center for teens 12-17 years old. You can hang out, play video games, make music in our in-house studio, watch movies, and participate in workshops.

Land Acknowledgement

Tio’tia:ke (Montreal) has long served as a site of meeting and exchange amongst nations, including the Kanien’keha:ka (of the Haudenosaunee Confederacy), Huron/Wendat, Abenaki, and Anishinaabeg (Algonquin).

We thank the land on which we live, for providing us with the resources needed to survive and grow. Earth has existed long before humans have inhabited it, and will persist long after we are gone. We acknowledge the role of the Kanien’keha:ka, as custodians of the lands and waters, in protecting and caring for the resources from which we benefit today.

We also recognize the hundreds of First Nation, Inuit, and Metis groups that have been stewards of Turtle Island, and support ongoing Indigenous resistance across “Canada”.
