REC NDG envisions a world where youth and young adults feel comfortable in their own skin, enjoy meaningful connections with their peers, and feel confident navigating the ever-changing realities of growing up in a world where not everything is clearly laid out.
Our Approach
REC NDG is a home away from home for youth and young adults ages 12–25. We offer a welcoming, non-judgmental drop-in environment where young people can spend time with their peers, participate in activities, and access programs that respond to their interests and needs.
Throughout the year, we also offer workshops on a variety of topics, including legal rights, art, sexual education, and other issues relevant to young people.
Music Program
In 2013, REC NDG launched its music studio program, giving youth the opportunity to create their first songs, explore music production and beatmaking, and develop their musical talents. Today, we have two music studios: one at the Head & Hands main office and another at our CCNDG location.
The music studio is available by appointment. DM us on Instagram to book a session.
Sports Program
REC NDG offers open-gym programming on a drop-in basis at our CCNDG location. Come shoot some hoops, play soccer, and connect with other youth from the community.
